Poetry
Poetry can have lots of rhythm. This week you will focus on writing rhythm poems.
Here are a few I like:

Here is a video of me reading a poem that has rhythm to it. You can tap it out with me while I read the poem.

Now you try to write your own starting with one of these prompts (Pick ONE topic, write it as the title, repeat the line on each heart line, come up with your own star line)

Pizza in a box
Bird in a nest
Fish in a bowl
Hot dog in a bun

Bible
Today you will use your papers to make a golden calf craft. If you don't have glitter, just color it gold. I don't have glitter at my house, so mine has to remain gold/yellow color.

  1. Color in the templates.
  2. Cut out all of the pieces, including cutting on the dashed lines of each piece.
  3. Glue both neck pieces together to form a single piece. Do the same for the body and the legs.
  4. At this point if you choose you can glitter each individual piece. Allow the pieces to dry.
  5. Attach the pieces together to form the golden calf.

Science
Photos below have today's science mini book: Mixing Liquids. Follow the instructions and color it nicely!

If you don't have oil and water to mix, here is a photo of what happens when you do try to mix them together.

Art
Today we will finish our Giraffe with steps 6-8. Tomorrow we will add some more details.

Tomorrow we will color add in the foreground and background!
