Today you'll turn one of your Museum Walk items into a Free Verse Poem!

Here are the Free Verse Poems I read to you:

Seashell
Treasure of the sea
Smooth and shiny
Pearly

Goldfish
Tail swishing
Eyes staring
Swimming gracefully
Looking for a friend

Using my Museum Walk paper I have created a Free Verse Poem, just like you! Use your Museum Walk paper to help you, since you used it for your brainstorm yesterday. I definitely took ideas from my paper!

Here's a quick video of what the kaleidoscope looks like inside, in case you haven't seen one before:
Let me know if you need help with your museum walk! I can help in any way with coming up with great adjectives (descriptive words) for what objects you find in your house.

Bible
Here's the Bible story for today, "Rahab Joins God's Side." Make sure you click it to enlarge the picture so it's easier to read.

Art
As I promised, you will see my puppy picture today! Here is the last drawing step- ALL THE FUR!
Make sure you add in that foreground and background so your sweet Cocker Spaniel isn't floating.

Make sure you fill 4 or 5 lines with your clues so we have hope with guessing either who you are writing about or where you are writing about!

Bible
Today, you will read the story, "Moses Goes Home." Click the picture to make it bigger and easier to read.

Poetry
Today you will take the ideas from yesterday's poetry prep and make it into an I Like Poem. Give your poem a title based off of the topic you chose (animals, foods, sports, school subjects, +more), write "I like" at the beginning of each happy face line, followed by what you like. Write "I don't like" at the beginning of each sad face line, followed with what you don't like.

My brainstorm paper had many more ideas than what I had room to list. So I just picked the ones that sounded the best or were my biggest likes and dislikes.

Remember: Use your own ideas! You cannot copy down what I have because this is describing the thing I picked. YOU need to describe what YOU have picked.

Here's my brainstorm paper again:

Here's how I turned it into my poem:
