March 31, Tuesday

Hi Everyone!

Physical Education

I have been searching for ways for you to get all of your energy out and I think I have found a great solution: PE with Joe. He does full body workouts and I think I'll do them as well so I can keep in shape and be able to run with you guys when school starts up again!

You can either follow his Youtube channel or watch for his workouts to be posted here. He does a new work out every day live at 9AM or your can watch them later.

Art

This week your art will be found here on the blog. I have drawn a cartoon camel and you will be drawing it step by step too. Taking it step by step slows it down and makes it something you can do. It will not be as challenging if you go step by step. We will not finish it today.

Remember to draw light until you get it right!

Make sure your paper is horizontal for this camel. He's very tall!

The drawing steps never told me to erase lines so I haven't erased any lines on my camel! I drew very, very lightly and then I pushed my pencil down really hard on the lines I knew I wanted to keep. And sometimes my guide lines turned out too dark (that's why you could see them even after I colored it. I colored it lightly so you could see where my guide lines are! They are very important and will help you draw anything you need to!

Keep your camel safe until tomorrow. We will add more to him then.

Happy Spring Break!

Hello Everyone!

Amazingly enough we have come to the close of 3rd quarter! The past five days have felt like the world has turned over on itself all at once, but I wanted to be sure to wish you the best for this Spring Break.

I know facing the unknowns is scary. Places, restaurants, and parks are closed; trips have been canceled, activities had to be postponed, and what you can do is limited. I hope that through it all we turn to God in our uncertainty and through His grace we may find peace. I find peace that even though this world in which we live is weird right now, I know that we have a safe spot in our heavenly home with Jesus. I hope that day comes soon when He takes us to our forever home with Him!

I hope that this time brings you closer as a family. Play outside in the backyard, cook together, play board games, draw, paint and create with one another. Cherish this time that you have together and one day I hope we will all remember this time fondly when we were able to reconnect as families and spend that needed time with one another.

I am looking forward to relaxing with my family this Spring Break, and learning new and better methods to online teach your precious students.

Thank you for the sweet little videos you have sent me of your kiddo! I love watching them and they make my day!

I'm praying for each of your families. Stay healthy and take heart that God is watching over us all, always.

Dogs! Math Challenge #1

Good Evening Students!

I have a little extra math problem for you to solve. Once you get it, have your parents take a little video of you saying the answer and have them text or email it to me! I think I'll do little challenges like this so let me know what you think of it.

3 dogs live at my Mom's house as you can see in the video. I had to go outside to feed them. I feed each dog 2 cups of dog food. How much food do they eat in one meal? I have to feed them 2 times a day. How much do they eat in one day?

I had to stop the video because Juni was giving me a hug and almost knocked me over! Silly girl!
